don't mess with fireworks

So...here's the short version... I decided to blow up a tomato with a firecracker and have my step-brother tape it. Well besides the fact that the tomato didn't blow up and my step-brother didn't get it on tape...I pretty much jacked myself up.
The list of injuries is as follows:
bruised/scratched knee
double bruised knee
double bruised/scrached arm
bruised eye brow
bruised chin
bruised sternum
scratched hand
and lots of sore muscles
so needless to say...don't mess with fireworks
and if you're asking yourself "how did all this happen by just lighting a firework...
well here's how...
I lit the firework and tried to run for cover behind our little fence thing that surrounds our little out door patio...here is a picture..the wooden pole I hit is the one in the center...I'll explain the other stuff later...

...so anyway...I trip on these bricks that my step-dad layed out and landed on my hands and knees...skidded...thus the knee and hand injuries...hit the post face first and got some whiplash...and next to the post is a rose bush that grows massive...thus the scratches over the rest of my body...then I was wearing sunglasses and when I hit the post it banged my eye brow and bruised the bone underneath...and then there are some other injuries that I have no idea how they happened...lol
so the moral of the story is...don't mess with fireworks
