You know what makes me peeved?
When people are condescending about the movie High School Musical and make fun of it.
It's actually a really great movie and it's really funny.
It's one of my favorite movie's actually.
And if you look at it for what it is, a MUSICAL, then you shouldn't take the singing seriously. no one ever made fun of Grease, and the director and producer of High School Musical just happens to be the director and producer of Grease. I think everyone tries to look at it like a movie and compare it to other movies, when in reality, it wasn't intended to be like a regular movie. People prejudge everything and don't give it a chance. I know people who haven't seen even a clip of it, but still make fun of it. I honestly think we could all learn a lot from High School Musical and also it's sequels. Accepting people for who they are, going after what you want, learning that it's not okay to blow off your friends, the importance of being yourself, and the importance of friendship, not to mention the most important lesson of every High School Musical movie...teamwork. I can definitely think of many people who could take a lesson or two from High School Musical. In short, I think it's an amazing movie and it has taught me a lot, and I think everyone should at least give it a fair chance, and then I will let them say whatever they want about it. Even I have joked about it sometimes, 'cause sometimes it is a little hokey, but that's what makes it so cute. If they were serious about everything and realistic, it would just be awkward. Well I'm done with my ranting. These were just some thoughts I had today while watching High School Musical on my iPod Touch in my Math class today. It's always a boring and pointless class.

Anthem For The Underdog!
These lyrics actually relate to my last post and the song was actually on the soundtrack for the movie Never Back Down.
If you like the lyrics, then go download the song...it's a pretty awesome song.
Enjoy!
You say you know just who I am
But you can't imagine
What waits for you across the line
You thought you had me
But I'm still here standing
And I'm tired of backing down
And I'm here now feeling the pain
Of a thousand hearts
Been to hell and back again
I won't take this
You try so hard to bring me down
You can't break the broken
You still don't seem to understand
It's your turn to see just
How it feels to be me
How it feels to be knocked down
And you're here now feeling the pain
Of a thousand hearts
You've been to hell and back again
You can't take this
Remember
This feeling
How it feels to be alive
Now you see me through my eyes
And we're here now feeling the beat
Of a thousand hearts
Coming back to life again
We can make it
Remember
This feeling
Remember...

Never Back Down
You know what I learned today...well...more like re-learned...
No matter what, you never back down.
No matter what the challenge.
No matter what the circumstances.
You never back down!
I actually re-learned all of this from a movie, and perhaps one of the best quotes ever.
"Sometimes you have to fight, so that you never have to fight again."
So in normal people terms...sometimes you have to do the things you don't want to do, so that you never have to do them again.
So go big or go home!
Those are just some of my thoughts right now.
And...if you haven't seen Never Back Down, then go see it...it's worth the money!

From time to time...and in between
Those are actually part of the lyrics to a song I love by a band called Rascal Flatts.
It's about thinking about someone not only from time to time, but also in between that.
But I'm using it as what I think about in general from time to time and in between.
I can't promise that mt thoughts will be insightful or interesting, but it will be my own thoughts, so that's gotta count for something...who doesn't want a little insight into another person's mind.
I sometimes used to want to be able to read minds, but I grew up and realized that it's better to just let people reveal what they want to reveal over time...it makes it like a bunch of little surprises.
Over the past few days I've been watching this old television show called Everwood on my computer...episode after episode I watched, and it actually helped a lot. I know that TV isn't real life, but because it's almost always perfect and turns out great, I think it could almost be used as a template for life. I find a lot of good examples in TV. For instance, Kyle XY. The actor, Matt Dallas, who plays Kyle in Kyle XY, sets a really great example by being an amazing friend. If you ever watch the show, you see how selfless, kind, and compassionate Kyle is. He's also really smart. Yes he's not real, but it doesn't mean you can't follow his example.
Well that's just some stuff I've been pondering about for a while now...let me know what you think.
I hope you enjoyed my first post.
